Upcycled Needlepoint Stocking Ornament - Spring Green Landscape (OOAK)

I cut apart a collection of vintage needlepoints to make these adorable, upcycled handmade needlepoint stocking ornaments - all one of a kind!

After the original work of the needlepoint artists, these mini stockings are handmade in my little cottage on Lake Superior. Each has a silk lining and is backed with felt. 

You can hang these small scale needlepoint stockings on doorknobs, on a tree as an ornament, or add as a gift topper.  Some are very similar in design and could be turned into a garland.

I specifically sized them all to fit a gift card (we recommend adding some tissue paper to the "toe" so the gift card doesn't slip too far inside), but you can fill them with mini candy canes (or mini coal) instead!

A snippet of a landscape needlepoint front, with earthy hues of green and brown. Backed with dark green felt and lined with mushroom colored silk.

Soft green ribbon attached for hanging.

Measurements: 

Approx. 7" long x 3.25" wide (toe to toe). 

Imperfections:

While we took care in sewing these - even hand stitching the linings - please note that the needlepoint themselves may have little flaws.  I've noticed a skipped stitch here or a change in yarn/thread color there.  These were hand made at the time, and I think these human errors add character to the finished pieces.
